I have to try that. I don't like grits on their own but I love that sausage and it sure looks great.

Dive. Try it with Jimmy Deans spicey sausage first.. It is a different flavor than chorizo... Go to www.grits.com and look at all the ways to cook them...

Looks real good SS I love chorizo. There was a small taco stand in the valley that used to sell chorizo street tacos and man were they good. Once I get my act together and start grinding sausage I'm going to try making some chorizo sausage. Thanks for sharing.

Try stone-ground grits, which I'd guess you can find on the Web more readily than in Canada. The customary supermarket grits bear little resemblance to the real thing. Store 'em in the freezer.

Thank you for the grits advice. The texture of the ones we have bought at the market remind me of cream of wheat. Ugh. I'll look for the stone ground ones.
