Cajun Baked Chicken & Waffles

Alright this may not look all that interesting but it was a pretty darn tasty meal. My wife baked chicken breasts seasoned with Cajun Seasoning. I deboned it put it on top of jalapeno cornbread waffles along with crawfish cornbread dressing and drizzled the chicken and dressing with Bacon Syrup. Add a baked sweet potato on the side and Wow! this was a flavor explosion filled meal.

Well sure some of the ignert country folks aint quite getting a grasp on the supposed compatability of these two disparate food groups? Who thought that deal up? Right minded Texas folks would knock out the hotcakes (what is a waffle?) for breakfast and chow down on the fried chicken for lunch. Yall are wild and crazy boys.
