Brining?

Im gonna do salmon tonight. Should I brine it? Recipe?

Im gonna do lime and cilantro rice with some sort of fruit salad if that helps for a brine recipe. thanks for the help.

I brine salmon for cold smoking. try one of them planks..
 
I usually do a standard salt water brine for salmon...with a small hand full of peppercorns. Remember to rinse the fish off at pat dry with paper towel before you put them on the cooker!
 
I would only brine if you're planning on smoking it, otherwise I would either marinate or just coat with a little EVOO and season to taste.

You can fine the cedar planks in most seafood sections of the grocery store.
