Breakfast

We picked up some strawberries Sunday as the kids were coming for dinner. As it turns out they did not make it and the berries are still in the refrigerator. I spied them this morning and figured they were going to go downhill pretty quick so I did what a man has to do - Had strawberry shortcake for breakfast.

We make a simple syrup, put some chopped SB in then pour it warm shortcake.

I'll hafta try that. It'll be a nice change from my sausage, hashbrown and egg routine.
