Anybody else out there maintain a blog? I've got mine on blogger and I'm not happy with all it's limitations. Does any of you use something else? Or can anyone recommend something better?

My blog is http://whitetrashbbq.blogspot.com if you want to take a look. I want a blogging software that is FREE and allows more control about archiving.

I use livejournal.com, I used to have blogspot...or blogger. But copied over all my stuff to livejournal. Ummm archiving I don't use that much.
Here is one example of the archive, each red number is how many enteries they had that day http://www.livejournal.com/users/cbradfield/calendar ... now, when you are logged into the program thingy...you can manage your enteries better. What do you want/need in archiving? When I manage...it can recall the most recent entry, the last 20...or however many you want to show (with a max of the latest 99), or search by certain day.
Maybe you need a database instead...???
I say...sign up and try it out. Hope this helps...

I'd like to be able to catagorize my archives so that all recipes, restaurant reviews, contest info, etc are accessible from one link. The other feature I'd like is more formatting control without needing to know HTML. Apart form those two things, it's prettty good.
