Stew looks good. One of my favorite food groups. Cook it in the slow cooker occasionally but mostly on the stove top. I do like several others have mentioned and flour the meat chunks before browning. I try to control the liquids on the front end to make the right consistency but frequently wind up taking out a few tates and carrots plus some juice and blend it up with the stick blender and add it back to the pot. That thickens it up purty good. Think I have a recipe around here somewhere. If I find it I will post it over in the recipe section.
