Beans and Bacon

cold here yesterday, so I got the craving for one of my
favorite meals....was tired from the weekend, so I just
used canned pintos and great northerns.

Started with hog jowl bacon, big ol onion, and Scott's vinegar
sauce.

after the bacon was cooked, browned the onion in the grease,
and then poured off most of the grease...added the beans

toasted some english muffins, added it all together and it really
hit the spot

Looks mighty good. I'm going to have to try the hog jowl bacon. Can it be purchased in most grocery stores?

Great seasoning meat.

I have a bottle of that sauce here. I should take a shot at a pan full of that.

Bryan, Scott's is excellent on anything you put vinegar on,
especially collards.
