I'd go but I never go east of the mighty Mississippi. Some interest seminars on the schedule, looks like you'd need Heath Dept Cert to get a sales tax license.

Brian, I had lunch (at Jerry and Linda Mullanes BBQ restaurant) with some Mid Atlantic Board members over Thanksgiving. Last year after the Salisbury contest they polled the competitors and asked if the contest should be moved (remember the weather the last few years). Sandy was going to move the contest to a later date in the season. MABBQA booked the date with with the information that the Salisbury contest was going to be a different date. Well I guess they didn't change the date and the conference was already booked. It'll be interesting to see how many Salisbury gets. I'm not cooking the contest this season.
