I recently began using my stoneware baking dish to do bacon. This works very well.

Simply spread them out ( I got all 15 in the dish at once ) and bake. No flipping and no moving them around. Just bake. I baked them at 450 till they were looking done.

I couldn't figure out were to stick the maverick anyway.

Thats the way I make bacon too. I just use a foil lined cookie sheet bake at 350 till it smells done. No mess no fuss

I started these out at 350. After 15 min or so it didn't seem like they were cooking very fast so I cranked the heat up to 450. They cooked pretty fast after that.

We do bacon in the oven all the time now. I just put it on cookie racks on a sheet pan - comes out nice and not too greasy.
