had a really funny one happen years ago at a festival in Atlanta. I was mixing at the classic rock stage and Gov't Mule was on . At the same time just across the street was one of the other stages, with another 8,000 people all watching who else...but the Village People. No one in the Mule had any idea who was at the other stage but in between each of theor songs you could here/feel the subs thumping. Warren (Mule's guitar/singer) finally had all he could take and screamed into the mic (edited for the forum) " what in the h#ll kinda f****t sh*t is that over there?" I thought we we're going to have quite the riot for a moment. Luckily Atlantas finest thought so too and posted officers in the street between the stages. So keep on playing YMCA JB...just add in some John the Revelator to help it out :D
