A serious rifle

Did you guys read where a woman was shot at the Texas speedway while attending Nascar? She was in a motor home when a round came through the roof and hit her in the arm.
Word spread and a guy came forward that had been target practicing at a range 5 miles away. Whoa, I thought, that's a bit of a hike. Then the article mentioned he was firing a 50 cal Vulcan or something like that. I think it is one of those military sniper rigs that lays one on a target's 'gourd' at a mile distance. He was shooting some serious stuff.

At 5 miles he must have been plinking at a vulture flying overhead in order for the bullet to travel that far!
