A Quickie

Picked up some bacon wrapped filet mignon bites

While they were under the broiler I whipped up a Caesar Salad and sautéed some red bell peppers & onions in olive oil.

Fast, easy, tasty, and probably somewhat healthy for a change

I've seen bacon wrapped fillets sealed in plastic at the store for very little$$$. I've never tried them cause my brother told that they're shot up with water and cook down to almost nothing. Are those the same thing? (since there are a dozen on the broiler pan) Maybe, just hungry?

Looks good... but being in Daytona Beach, on top of having that great-looking food to eat, is adding insult to injury!

Local butcher makes them out of filet trimmings, no enhancement. That's enough for my wife and I, appetite has really diminished with age (Going on 65).
