A little help

Me and my wife are planning on a little trip in a few weeks. First stop is Raleigh, NC to visit with her brother. After that we're heading to New Bern for a day. Then to the Outer Banks, then Virginia Beach then Ocean City and then home. Anybody have any good spots for eat, drink or just be merry in any of those places?
