WSM or ECB

WARNING If its a Weber WSM you will get addicted and may forget about any other smokes.

It would be sweet if you snagged a Weber like that, but you can turn out que in an ECB as well.

2) If it is a ECB and not a WSM what are some mods that could be done to make it cook better?

If it turns out to be a Brinkmann, let us know if it's the ECB (the very cheapest) or the Gourmet (not quite as cheap, and a little easier to cook on). There are some mods that can be made to either one to make them easier to work with.

It's a good little cooker, I have gone threw 4 of them over the years from garage sales. If any thing it will teach you fire control.

Your not kidding. I did a ton of things on a ECB. Sure there cheap, but a person just starting out, you can't beat the price and Chuck got it for the best price! Rome was not built in a day. I'll have to look around to see what I have left. Might be fun to cook on one again.

I have an ECB that I found at a garage sale for $10.00, I'm going to make the mods and use it for camping trips then I wont risk damaging my WSM during travel.
