Homemade Charcoal Basket

My son made this for his vertical smoker. He's going to work on mine this week. Cost around $4 to make plus his labor. I'm going using a weber grate for the bottom of mine.

That kid "do know how to weld" ... he does know next weekend is Father's Day, seems yours should be on the house

Very nice! That is alot of work. We did it the lazy way using expanded metal for the kettle.
