finally got to do some work on my 250gal smoker build.

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
once i get it to temp and finish the little things and make the first real run then I will find out. right now I am content with what is in front of me. :)
 
finished Painting her today the first 2 coats. added the exhaust cover and still have to drill out the valve for the fat. I think after work I will test burn and start to season the pit. I cant wait. :)

guys thank you very much for all you kind words. It has been a great build. I wouldnt have changed a thing.I have been stress free just working on it. I hope to be able to cook and see peoples faces when they eat my bbq. That is the most humbling feeling. Thank you agian and hope you enjoy the Q-view coming up. My frist gig is a cookoff on Feb 19-20. I will have to make some practice runs staring now. Today I got the temp up to 350 and held it for a couple of hours. The paint held tight the only thing was the firebox. The paint on the side pealed a little but overall I had he guys next door come by and look.
 
seasoning the unit. looks good. Im happy with the results but need to adjuest the pitch so it can drain and heat move through.

put two probes on each end and was close to temps.
